DESIGNPARCOURS MÜNCHEN - "LET THERE BE POWER"
Merten and HfG Karlsruhe are presenting the "Let there be power" exhibition at Designparcours in Munich (28.02. – 09.03.2008).

What happens to the electricity that comes out of socket-outlets, what alternatives are there to conventional wall switches? Merten asked 16 students at HfG Karlsruhe this question.

Result: A pool of top-class ideas, bubbling with ceiling socket-outlets, tap-dimmers, children's switches, interactive LED luminaires or illuminated key holes. During the Designparcours, the resulting exhibit will amaze and inspire visitors to have a go at these unusual products/ideas.

Visit us at the Designparcours in Munich and see for yourself.

From the 28.02. to the 09.03.2008,
Ehemaliges Heizkraftwerk HKW
Müllerstrasse 7,
80469 Munich,
Germany

Opening hours: Mon – Fri 3 pm to 9 pm Sat – Sun 12 pm to 9 pm Last Sunday 12 pm to 6 pm

MOVE – THE LITTLE ROUND RADIO PUSH-BUTTON FOR MOBILE SWITCHING
The Move radio push-button, for everyone who wants more flexibility with their CONNECT radio system The new small radio push-button can be easily removed from its wall bracket and used as a radio remote control. And you can snap it back into the frame when you're done. Or screw it alone to any place on the wall you like.

Installation of the Move is highly flexible. A flush-mounted box is not required. The push-button wall bracket is suitable for bonding to walls or glass, screwing onto walls or flush-mounted boxes as well as installation in a multiple combination.

Your terrace, for instance, can also be conveniently put in the right light with Move, the new radio push-button. Or if lighting is to be dimmed from the bathroom mirror. Or if lighting is to be added to the closet or dressing room and you want to switch it on conveniently with Move. Or anything else!

ARGUS SMOKE DETECTOR WITH NETWORKING OPTIONS - REASSURINGLY SAFE
To be able to sleep soundly at night, it's not enough to install smoke detectors throughout the house. It is important that they are networked to each other. This is the only way to guarantee that when there is a fire in the cellar, for example, all smoke detectors in the house sound the alarm at the same time.

The ARGUS Connect is the optimal system for retrofitting a single-family house. The battery-operated smoke detectors are reliably networked together using the fail-safe frequency of 868 MHz.

The advantage: as soon as a smoke detector discovers smoke, it sends a radio signal to the other smoke detectors and they all sound the alarm. This leaves you plenty of time to get out of the house.

Available now: ARGUS 230 V smoke detector
For new homes, we recommend the ARGUS 230 V smoke detector, connected to the 230 V cable, for maximum safety from your cellar to the top floor. This provides the opportunity of being able to take the corresponding electricity outlets into account in the planning phase. Up to 25 smoke detectors can be wired together with the integrated networking option. The integrated battery provides continued functional reliability in the event of a power failure.

LINE 21 - TWO SERVICES, ONE TELEPHONE LINE
Fed up with your Internet access being restricted to a single room? Would you like access available in any room in the house that has a telephone socket? Not only in your study, but in the living room as well? No problem. Even without W-LAN. Simply replace your existing telephone sockets with Line 21 sockets, connect your telephone and computer - you're ready.

Line 21 supports parallel transmission of analogue telephone signals and digital data. All the necessary technology is contained in the clever Line 21 socket. And it can be attached without complicated wiring, additional cable, special tools or knocking through walls.

Line 21 is the ideal solution for both private and commercial premises.
