Wednesday sees the opening of NORD ELEKTRO, the biggest fair for the electrical, lighting and information technology sector in northern Germany.
As early as May, over 150 exhibitors had registered. That's 20 % more than two years ago. A new feature this year is Thursday XL, on which the fair remains open until 8 p.m. You can look forward to the many interesting innovations which Merten will be presenting:

Merten's Internet presence has been awarded a red dot for excellent design. This well-known commendation underlines the quality of the information presented and the creativity and user-friendliness of the new concept, which was created on the basis of Merten's unique and eye-catching corporate design.
The new Internet presence is designed with consistency in mind, and the focus is on praxis-oriented, intelligent solutions which meet the high standards of practicality and design that Merten's trading partners and customers have come to expect. An important aim of the design was to ensure that all the information required could be accessed as directly as possible, with just a couple of clicks.

TWO SERVICES, ONE TELEPHONE LINE - LINE 21 |

With Line 21, you can turn existing telephone lines into PC networks.
By simply replacing telephone sockets with Line 21 sockets, you will open up a whole new world to your customers. The existing telephone line can be used both for making telephone calls and for surfing the Internet or networking personal computers. Pictures stored on a computer in the PC can be shown on the television. Using Line 21, the DSL connection in the study can be extended into the children's room with no great effort required. Or you could use network-compatible MP3 players to create a multi-room audio system: MP3 files can be retrieved from a central location and then played anywhere in the building.

In the wake of the great success of the last Campaign Days organised by the German electrical trade in October of last year, the electrical guilds are again offering tenants, tradespeople and consumers the chance to find out more about safety and energy efficiency, between 27 September and 29 October 2004. "Increased safety, increased energy savings" is the motto.
