ARGUS movement detector system – no way of getting round it
Good news and bad news: good news for your peace of mind and for the security of your home, bad news for uninvited guests. The intelligent movement detector systems will not let them get too far unannounced. The highly sensitive infrared sensors detect all moving sources of heat. If someone enters the area monitored, the lights will switch on automatically. You and your invited guests can also benefit from this feature when you arrive home in the hours of darkness: the lighting switches on automatically and shows you clearly the path to the door.
Radio networking – More security, flexibility and convenience.
ARGUS movement detectors are among the very few systems that control via radio and can be networked with one another. What's more, networking is quick, easy, and requires not a single metre of cable. For example, if an ARGUS mounted on the garage registers a suspicious movement, it will transmit radio signals to the other radio-networked movement detectors. In a flash, your home will be lit up.

ARGUS smoke detector system – keeps watch while you sleep
Every home should have one: the ARGUS smoke detector This is particularly important because the human sense of smell switches off during sleep. For your peace of mind, therefore, it's good to know that, in case of fire, the ARGUS Connect smoke detector will trigger an alarm tone when even a miniscule amount of smoke particles are detected in the air. This means you have plenty of time to get out of the building before it's too late.
The battery-operated domestic smoke detector can be installed easily in every room. The preferred locations are in bedrooms and children's rooms, and the connecting escape routes (e.g. hallway and staircase). In homes with more than one storey, it is advisable to install smoke detectors in the hallway on every floor. This is particularly important since smoke can spread very quickly through corridors and stairwells.

M-SMART FRAMES WITH LABELLING BRACKET |

Practical, versatile and simple
Which central plate and which frame goes with each insert? The M-SMART frame with labelling bracket is here to help. Its special feature: unlike most labelling systems, the Merten labelling bracket stays on the supporting ring when dismantled.
That can prove very useful when painting or decorating, for example. What's more, the labelling bracket will stick to any background (wallpaper, plaster etc.) and can compensate for unevenness up to a difference of 1.5 mm.
Installation couldn't be easier: First, mount the frame and the central plate, then simply stick the labelling bracket into the opening in the frame. Close the opening with the protective cap.
The M-SMART frame with labelling bracket is available in white and polar white and in the frame versions single, 2-gang and 3-gang, vertical and horizontal. The package includes labelling strips. Individual: label as required using the labelling software.
Clear and simple: the allocation of switches, socket-outlets or KNX components remains the same even after redecorating.

The new Merten doorplate, designed to complement the M-PLAN range, – shows you the way into the future – with or without illumination. Available in the colours white, polar white, anthracite and aluminium, it lends a coordinated touch to sign systems and electrical installations.
There's no end to the uses for Merten's new orientation signs. At home, they are perfect as doorplates or nameplates. Not to mention in offices, practices, companies, hotels and other commercial properties. To indicate the assignment of offices or conference rooms, for example.
The illuminated orientation sign can be installed quickly and easily in any flush-mounted socket, and always gets its message across. As well as combining it with conventional switches, the sign can also be controlled using the Merten radio system and KNX.

LED LIGHT SIGNAL - UNMISSABLE BY DAY OR BY NIGHT |

Sometimes, a simple sign says more than a thousand words. The LED light signals, designed to coordinate with System M, simply cannot be overlooked – - thanks to the LED lamp which backlights the viewing window. That applies to both the single-colour versions in green and red and the two-colour, green/red combination. The illumination means that the signs get noticed both day and night.
And that's the whole point. Because there's no end to the uses you can put them to. In corridors or stairwells. Outside toilets, stairwells or lifts. In offices, practices, companies, hotels, residential centres or even at home.
The light signals can be controlled via the Merten radio system and KNX as well as with conventional switches. Everything you need for lucrative, multi-function installations.
LED lamp
The LED lamps are energy-efficient, long-life signal lights available in the colours white, yellow, red, green and blue. They will fit in E10 plug-in light attachments and light signal inserts. Available 1st quarter 2005
