SYSTEM M - DAZZLING SURFACES, LIMITLESS VARIETY
Now there are two more reasons to choose System M: The new high-gloss surfaces. This means Merten can supply not only the classymatt variant but also even more flexibility and variety in the choice of individually suitable switch designs.

Thermoplastic brilliant glossy
In this case, surface impressions count! That's because not only is it brilliant and shiny, but – thanks to thermoplastic – it's also extremely shatter-proof. Available in M-SMART design.

M-SMART active white - naturally clean
System M active white doesn't give germs and bacteria a chance to breed. That's because the silver ions in the material have an antibacterial effect and therefore protect against transfer by touch. For use wherever there is a particularly great need for hygiene, such as in hospitals, restaurants and kindergartens.

Duroplast is highly scratch-resistant, glossy and sturdy
The range of switches made of highly scratch-resistant duroplastic, with its shiny material, can withstand tough treatment. Available in the M-SMART design variant.

ARGUS 180 / 2.20M FLUSH-MOUNTED – ONE THAT NEVER MISSES A TRICK
The flush-mounted ARGUS 180/2.20m indoor movement detector is mounted at a height of 2.20 metres, which gives it the best possible view of events.

Take one step and the light goes on straight away, in hallways, stairwells, offices and anywhere that on-demand lighting control is needed, because of its horizontal and vertical detection angle. A positive side effect of the higher mounting position: the best possible protection against damage.

The flush-mounted ARGUS 180/2.20m is available for conventional and for KNX applications. The new indoor movement detector is available in System M design.

ROTARY DIAL DIMMERS – FIRST-CLASS DIMMING
Easy to operate, multiple functions and a good memory. The comfort dial can do much more than just make the light brighter or darker.

Using the memory function, for instance, the last brightness stage and up to two stored light values can be called up.

The comfort dial even helps you in the dark: With the discreet orientation light, that can also be deactivated when not needed.

SYSTEM SURFACE – ELEGANT AND PRACTICAL
With its illuminated display, elegant button shape and high-class materials, it will be an eye-catcher in every room: the multi-function push-button with room temperature control unit in System Design.

It combines two devices into one: A multi-function push-button for controlling lights and blinds, and a control unit for on-demand room temperature control.

The new multi-function push-button with room temperature control unit is available as a 2-gang push-button for ARTEC, ANTIK and TRANCENT. Also available: White, polar white or aluminium, and also in elegant stainless steel.

BLIND/SWITCH ACTUATORS – SWITCH TO VARIETY
The new REG-K blind and switch actuators make life simpler. That starts right back at the building phase: for instance, their function can be tested by hand as soon as they are installed on site. The control units for the blinds can be locked centrally at the touch of a button when the windows are to be cleaned.

The new blind/switch actuators are particularly practical and provide an impressive diversity of software functions. Available for 8 blinds / 16 switches or 12 blinds / 24 switches.

There are a total of 14 new series installation devices available. Irrespective of how many loads are to be switched – 2, 4, 8, 12, 16 or 24 – Merten leaves nothing to be desired.

Major figures from the world of architecture and design have thought out new and ground-breaking ideas for Merten. Amongst the concepts on display will be those from Konstantin Grcic, Jürgen Mayer H., Reed Kram and Max Ratjen.

RADISSON SAS BERLIN – INTELLIGENCE AND DESIGN INCLUDED FROM MERTEN
One reference is worth more than a thousand words.
Anyone planning or constructing a building depends on the experience of expert suppliers. Merten offers decades of experience in intelligent building technology.

Designed by the architects nps tchoban voss, a new hotel building was created at the prestigious address "Unter den Linden" in Berlin. Particular attention was drawn to the Aquadom placed above the café in the hotel lobby. Visitors can travel through the cylindrical aquarium in a lift and watch tropical fishes.

Merten created a comprehensive KNX solution for the conference rooms, leisure facilities, restaurants, presidential suite and underground car park. This is used to control lighting, lightscenes and the automated partition walls.

The switch ranges selected (including hotel keycard switches) were the aluminium versions of M-SMART and M-PLAN.
