KNX IP ROUTER – NOW SWITCH EVEN FASTER |

Merten is now offering another smart solution for KNX configuration: the KNX/IP router REG-K (KNX Net IP – EIBA-certified).
It offers the following advantages:
| • | Larger systems usually have a network (LAN). The IP router connects the Instabus KNX lines with each other via the LAN, and thereby enables cross-building networking with higher speeds – a great advantage especially for building visualisations or fault signal systems. |
| • | The devices on one KNX line can be accessed for programming purposes via the KNX/IP router from every location on the network (e.g. ETS programming with ETS3.0d and above). |
| • | Power can be supplied through an external connection (e.g. type no. 693003) or can be alternatively supplied via power-over-Ethernet (current through Ethernet cables, IEEE standard 802.3af) in order to save on electrical cables. |
